Makeda Haughton (“Keda”) is a Jamaican-American educator, world traveler, and author who moved across the world in 2018 to teach English in South Korea. Since her experience educating abroad, Keda createdher own podcast, 'The Sobe Pod,' where she shares stories and lessons with fellow travelers, and published the book “Kim Imani: The Girl Made of Magic'' about a half-Black, half-Korean girl who moves to South Korea and learns more about her own roots. Through her own journey of exploring other cultures not her own, Keda empowers people of all cultures and backgrounds to more passionately dive into and learn more about the diverse world around them.
